Bookmarks for humans and AI
Your AI forgets everything. Give it Bacopa.
Save web pages and PDFs. Bacopa distills each one into facts and a brief, and your agents search them through MCP, so they read what matters instead of the whole page.
Take one daily. Side effects may include finding things.
Forgot where you saw it? There's a Bacopa for that.
Saving takes a link or a file, nothing else. Bacopa does the reading.

01
Save
Paste links, drop PDFs, or import your export from another bookmark service. The Chrome extension saves the tab you're on with Alt+Shift+S, and your agents save the sources they used.
-
02
Distill
Bacopa rewrites each document as facts: self-contained, with every value and step kept, code copied verbatim, and the noise left out. A brief says what the document is and what it covers.

03
Recall
Your agents search the facts through MCP and read only the ones they need. You find a page again from the address bar: type bc, then a few words.
Your bookmarks, remembered by you and your AI.
Agents know the common answer, not the better one you read last month. With Bacopa, your agent checks your bookmarks before it writes the code.

> p99 on /search jumped to 1.2 s since we split the index into 40 shards. Check my bookmarks, then fix it.
bacopa - search_facts (MCP)(query: "tail latency fan-out")
- If each server is slow on 1 request in 100, a request to 100 servers is slow 63% of the time.the-tail-at-scale.pdf
- A hedged request goes to a second replica once the first is slower than the 95th percentile.the-tail-at-scale.pdf
- In a Bigtable benchmark, hedging after 10 ms cut p99.9 latency from 1,800 ms to 74 ms for 2% more requests.the-tail-at-scale.pdf
Your bookmarks explain it: with 40 shards, the slowest shard sets the latency of every search. "The Tail at Scale" describes a fix, hedged requests: when a shard passes its p95, ask a replica too and keep the first answer. I added that to src/search/fanout.ts:
const controller = new AbortController();
const { signal } = controller;
const hedge = sleep(p95(shard)).then(() => query(shard.replica, signal));
const rows = await Promise.any([query(shard.primary, signal), hedge]);
controller.abort(); // cancel the slower copy

Finally, a nootropic for Claude.
Connect Claude Code with one command and a sign-in. Your agent searches your facts, reads the ones it needs, and saves the sources worth keeping. Any MCP client connects the same way.
